Humour in Politics

The UPA govt, of which Congress is the main constituent, increases the price of petrol. Act two, the Congress protests against the raise. Wow. Thats quite a plot.

Ditto for the new income tax form scheduled to replace Saral. It is announced that the form is to be introduced and a few days later a loop hole makes it optional. Wow once more.

After reservation its SARAL now

What the heck is happening. Its the salaried middle class (like me) who care for higher education in India, so probably reservations would hit us the hardest. It is people like us who pay taxes regularly and now we hear of the simple SARAL being booted out.

I had heard the story of a dumb inn keeper. He had many donkeys. One was a real hardworker and the rest were lazy pokes. SO the inn keeper, in order to get his work done, started ignring the lazy donkeys and kept on increasing the load on the hardworking donkey. What happened after a while is for all of us to imagine!!

Come on PC, please get your priorities right. How much do me n people like me make up in your direct tax collection? How much more do you think can you extract.

letter to Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan, you vs BJP could well be the next block buster. Both sides seem to be reacting with a childish immaturity. You (Aamir) had made a statement. BJP was aggrieved. BJP asked you to apologise. You refused, saying you did not mean what the BJP thinks you meant. No Fanaa in Gujarat, no Toyota adds with you also.

What ever I have read and heard about Narendra Modi, he is too practical a person to be affected by the statements. Even if you had attacked Modi directly, I do not think he would have been detered.
Its just that it has become a ego stuggle now. And slowly but surely other people, many with vested interests, will get involved and we might have another major struggle ahead.
Come on Aamir, just go and try to meet Modi. I am sure you will not need to apologise. Its a simple misunderstanding. There are better issues for both camps.
